Reppard’s musical journey began at 13 when he discovered a beat-up electric guitar at a yard sale for $15. After cleaning it up, restringing it, and wiring it into an old stereo amplifier, he taught himself to play by learning Weezer and Green Day songs like most kids growing up in the ’90s. He played in several bands throughout high school, with one continuing after graduation.
As singer and frontman for A Small Victory, Reppard recorded several demos, an EP, and a full-length album titled “El Camino.” The band toured extensively during the early 2000s, including the entire 2004 Vans Warped Tour.
When the touring days ended, Reppard transitioned to a career in software development while building a family. He currently lives in Southeast Kentucky with his wife, three children, and a small menagerie that includes three dogs, one cat, a python, and around eleven chickens.
Music remains a constant in his life—he enjoys playing various instruments, regularly plays drums for worship at his church, and has had the opportunity to co-write and collaborate with Athens-based band Futurebirds. After a 20-year hiatus from official releases, Reppard is currently working on new material that reflects two decades of life experience and musical growth.
Stay tuned.
